The Miracle of Spring
We glibly talk
Of nature’s laws
But do things have
A natural cause?
Black earth turned into
Yellow crocus
Is undiluted
Hocus-pocus.

DAY 120
Tiny snowman*
(watch added for scale).
An army of these
would be very creepy.
* This was actually
seen in Franklin Park,
not on the trail.

DAY 119
I love orange, so yeah . . . I was very excited to see this new sculpture of an iron at Coleen Hoose school!

DAY 118
March
Mudness.
Okay, it doesn't look as muddy in the photo as it did in real life. I just wanted to make the stupid pun.

DAY 110
I'm back.
A torqued lumbar disc had me off the bike for five days. The longest hiatus in five months.
So here is a sweetgum seed pod. I loved these as a kid. They are like the medieval maces. Or I suppose it would be more accurate to say that maces resemble sweetgum seeds.
Anyway, they're cool. And yet another harbinger of Spring!
